The questionnaire results indicate that the core audience for the music video is predominantly teenagers and young adults who regularly consume music video content on Spotify and also show preferences for indie and folk sounds, which strongly validates the decision to base the project on Riptide by Vance Joy.

The strong preference for narrative and atmospheric visuals indicates that a story-driven concept with a warm, summery aesthetic will resonate most effectively, while heavy choreography or performance-based structures would be less impactful.

These findings shape the creative planning by prioritising natural locations such as beaches, coastal roads, and outdoor settings, using soft lighting and candid camerawork to enhance authenticity. Elements likely to be included are symbolic props, subtle storytelling moments, and emotive close-ups that emphasise mood, while elements avoided would include overly complex plots, dark visual palettes or high-concept effects that could feel disconnected from the song’s tone.
