Name: Arianna

Role in the music video: Arianna is the main character of the video. The idea is that camera follows her spending time at the beach, walking along the shore, looking out at the sea and just enjoying the moment. There isn’t a heavy storyline, but more of a simple, reflective mood that fits the song.

Costume & Styling

She will be wearing:

• Beach shorts

• A simple tank top

Her hair will be blonde and beachy, slightly messy from the wind, and she’ll have light, natural makeup.

This look works well because it feels very authentic and effortless, so it doesn’t look forced, which makes the character more believable. This photo of her is an inspiration I will use, as I like the vibe it is transmitting.

Arianna (my sister)

Why I chose this actor: I chose my sister mainly because she is comfortable in front of the camera and acts naturally without trying too hard. That’s important for this type of video, where the focus is more on real moments rather than dramatic acting.

It also makes filming easier to organise and I can guide her during shots without it feeling awkward.

Why she is suitable for the genre & audience: She fits the indie genre because she comes across as natural, which is exactly what the audience expects. The target audience (teenagers, young adults) can easily see themselves in her, which makes the video feel more personal.

Her look and style also match the beach setting, helping everything feel consistent visually.

Casting Process

I didn’t organise a formal casting session, but I was thinking of choosing between my sister and a friend of mine. Eventually, I chose Arianna, not only because the process would be easier, as we live together in Spain and the music video is filmed on the beach, but also because I think her looks match the song and setting perfectly.

Final Thoughts

For this project, I didn’t want anything too dramatic or over-planned. The goal is to keep everything simple, natural and visually clean, so the focus stays on the overall music video.
