Genre & Moodboard Minor Tasks

A. Album Digipak

For my album digipak, I created this moodboard that establishes warm and nostalgic visuals, inspired by coastal environments and natural lighting. The beach settings and sunset tones create a calm and reflective mood that will connect closely with the atmosphere of the music. I prefer using as many relaxed poses as possible, because it feels more realistic than rigid poses that look counterfeit.

Visual references such as instant photographs and vinyl textures subtly suggest themes of memory and storytelling, giving the digipak a sense of emotional depth.

Beyond the images shown, the final design would continue this minimalist approach through its layout and structure. The use of spacing would keep the visuals as the main focus while still allowing room for practical elements like track listings and credits. Maintaining consistent colour grading across each panel would help the digipak feel unified, even though every part belongs to the same visual moment rather than separate designs.

The typography would remain clean and understated to complement the imagery without distracting from it. A modern sans-serif font would reinforce the contemporary aesthetic, while the text tones would blend with the warm colour palette. Subtle finishing touches such as gentle textures or light overlays could add depth while keeping simple the overall look.

B. Official Social Media Page - Instagram

For the official Instagram page I created this moodboard that makes references to behind the scenes parts, makeup, filming, music video, props etc. I want the Instagram page to also contain the small details that cannot be seen on the screen, creating more meaning to the work itself. Everything will be done in the same mood and colour palette, to ensure a more cursive flow between the posts.

This reflects how social media branding often extends the narrative of the music by offering a more intimate and behind-the-scenes perspective.

The content would balance portrait shots, environmental images, and small detail moments so the grid feels visually interesting and unified. Maintaining a similar colour grade across posts would be important to ensure continuity, helping each image feel like part of the same visual story. This approach also supports audience recognition, as a consistent style makes the page instantly identifiable when users scroll through their feed.

Typography and graphic elements would be used sparingly, appearing mainly in promotional posts such as release announcements or lyric visuals. Keeping text minimal ensures the imagery remains the main focus while still allowing key information to be communicated clearly. A modern font would match the overall aesthetic and align visually with the digipak, reinforcing a strong cross-platform identity.
