Genre & Moodboard Major Task

For my music video, I want to create a cinematic beach vibe. The video will feature a blonde girl as the central character, walking along the shoreline or standing at the water’s edge with palm trees in the area as well. Wide shots of the ocean and horizon will give a sense of space and freedom, while close-ups on her face or hands will capture the reflective moments.
The natural environment will be the main backdrop, with minimal distractions, so the focus stays on her and the mood, as you can see in the moodboard.

I will consider props like a digital camera, a can of soda, or other things like a book/sunscreen/towel etc. to hint at a story without needing a full narrative.
Smooth camera movements and lingering shots of the waves or horizon will enhance the cinematic feeling.
I also want to try some creative ideas in the video that aren’t part of the usual style. For example, I could include small details like the wind moving her hair or the water gently moving around her feet to make the shots feel more natural and alive. I might use light effects or soft lens flares to give certain moments a more cinematic look.
I also want to focus on natural moments, like the character laughing, walking barefoot, or looking out at the sea, to make the video feel more real.
For the titling, I want to keep the design clean and modern. I would use a simple sans-serif font such as Helvetica, Futura, or Montserrat because these fonts look minimal, without distracting from the image. The title of the song would be placed either at the top of the poster or in the centre, depending on the composition of the photo, so it stands out clearly as the main text.
The artist’s name would appear smaller than the title, positioned subtly, maybe in the bottom corner.
In terms of colour, I would use either white to contrast against the sunset and beach, either a light pink if it matches the background tones. If the image is very bright, I might add a slight drop shadow to keep the text readable. Perhaps, I would also include a short tagline underneath the title in a smaller font size, so the layout feels balanced, and not overcrowded.
