What do I think of it? I’m really happy with how the final poster turned out! It feels bold and atmospheric, which matches the moody and nostalgic vibe of House of Balloons. The blurred effect on the artist gives it a mysterious, dreamlike quality that draws attention. |
What went really well? I’m proud of the overall composition — the dark blue tones mixed with the glowing text create a strong contrast that makes the information stand out. I also like how the typography choices (modern bold for the name, elegant serif for the tour title) complement each other. The design feels cohesive and professional. |
What could I improve next time? For my next project, I’d like to refine my time management and planning. I could spend more time on the research stage — for example, looking at current tour posters to understand trends in layout and spacing. I’d also experiment with additional textures or subtle gradients to add even more depth. This project taught me a lot about blending concept with execution and I’m excited to push my editing and layout skills even further. |
Overall, I really enjoyed creating this project because it allowed me to experiment with new skills in design, editing, and concept development. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow creatively. I’m excited to take what I’ve learned here and apply it to my next project!
