After my latest attraction to traveling, I chose to design a logo associated to this field, using Goodbrief.io to accomplish my project. The brief was for a company offering exotic destinations, with staff in every location to make bookings easy for couples. Their request was a red logo that could convey a sense of fame while remaining kind and approachable, primarily for use on their website. It was also mentioned that the name of the company should be called 'ORANGE".

The process of creating this logo was both exciting and rewarding. Translating a short written brief into a clear visual identity felt like a creative journey. I focused on combining two hearts, a flight path, and an airplane to express travel, love, and connection for couples. The color red was used as a base, but I explored softer variations and gradients to make the design feel warm rather than aggressive. This helped me balance the aspirational “fame” feeling with the friendliness the brand wanted to convey.
What I enjoyed most about the project was experimenting with typefaces and colour tones to bring out a luxurious yet welcoming character. The challenge came in making the logo look natural and harmonious. A strong colour like red can dominate easily, so refining the shapes of the hearts, the flow of the flight path, and the size of the plane took time. Sketching multiple versions first and iterating helped me discover a look that felt both stylish and organic.
If I were to do this project again, I would keep the initial sketching and exploration process, which gave me freedom to test different ideas quickly. The one thing I would change is to research more travel and luxury logos before starting, so I could benchmark the style and find inspiration faster.
Also, I decided to take the Creative Type test on https://mycreativetype.com/, in order to see which are my true characteristics behind my creative work. I am the luminary. It makes sense because I enjoy sharing ideas, connecting with people and creating things that feel useful and inviting. When I look at the logo and text I created above, I can see those traits showing up — it’s meant to guide, inspire and make an impact without being over the top. Even the colour choices and imagery were chosen for their warmth and openness.
For me, creativity is simply turning ideas, feelings or possibilities into something real and meaningful. It’s a way of linking imagination with reality and making things that help or inspire others.
